"Helping Others is our Recovery"

NJ Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping members of the legal community to find recovery and confidential support.  LCL has two major focuses:

  • The first consists of encouraging development of local groups which meet independently throughout New Jersey to offer strength, hope and experience - much like Alcoholics Anonymous - to members of the profession who wish to join together to provide mutual support.

The existence of these local groups has proven over the years to be of paramount importance to many who have maintained sobriety.

  • The second major focus is to maintain and administer a Fund to provide financial assistance for treatment expenses to persons in the legal profession lacking resources who are recommended by the NJ Lawyers Assistance Program and other professionals.   This financial assistance is provided in the form of a loan rather than as an outright grant.
